What Ever Happened With The Beast?

I believe that this so called "beast" is just Steven's dog. My thinking is that when the dog ran off he probably saw something suspicious and started growling at it in a way that Steven had never heard him before. I experienced this scenario one day when I was hearing strange noises that I couldn't quite figure out what was or where it was coming from. I ended up being my dog making strange noises while she was dreaming, and this is the exact same thing that I think will happened at the end of the story.

My prediction to the 3:15 story, Beast, was very much incorrect. My prediction was that there was no beast, it simply was she dog growling at some mysterious object in the woods. When watching the ending I realized that there was no way that noise came from a dog. The main reason my prediction was incorrect was because I misinterpreted the type and sound of the noise. With that said, what I think will happen next, in the real ending, is that the dog will run home and find the father. The dog will take the father to where the son was last seen with the beast. In Lassie, whenever there's a problem she runs home and barks until someone follows her to where the trouble is. That's what I believe will happen.
