What a Wonderful Weekend 5/11

Well, I could sleep for like, ever! Geez, this was quite a busy weekend. See, on Friday. when I got home, I started my homework because of the fact that I had a busy weekend following. But since I got caught up in the social networking and life of Facebook, I am now just finishing my homework, at yes 10 to 10 or for all you people out there who cannot, for some odd reason, tell time-- 9:50. So back to the point, after all the tweeting and status updates and stalkings of pictures of my friends and their friends, I take part in my horrendously busy weekend. to start, I braided my hair since the morning would be quite early for me. i mean I have to wake up at 6:30 for a field trip for school. What are we!? In the military! Ugh! Well, at least the early awakening was totally worth it! Because we got to go to Great America for our music festival for band and choir. We first departed from school at around 8:30 a.m., but I had to be there at 7:30 since my mom was chaperoning. anyways once we headed down south to Illinois we arrived at Gurnee Middle School, or something like that and warmed up for our performance for band. We played in front of a judge and about 3 other school that were taking part in this competition for music. Once our performance was finished all the students who were in both band and choir had to rush through this unknown school to arrive on time to warm up for the choir performance. we partially warmed up and then again headed out to be judge. once all the performances for us were completed we had to wait probably the 4 or so most boring hours of my life. sitting in a cafeteria of a school in which we were not even in the same state of. I made my way through my friends and took part in their little charades and conversations. as soon as the high schools performances had ended we boarded the bus to arrive to the best field trip our school has ever had and possibly will have. I could go into drastic detail about what went on but I think I will just skip to the award ceremony and save you the dreaded description of an hour and a half wait in line for the superman. once we got to the award ceremony we wait to hear our name announced in the categories that we would be judged in. once the choir category came up all of our school conversations hushed to what seemed to be an awkward silence as we wait to hear our name announce. That silence was worth the awkwardness because.... WE TOOK FIRST PLACE BABY! Ohh yess! Once the award ceremony had come to an end, we headed back to the adventure, the rides! I went on The Whizzer, Superman, Demon, Teacups, Riverboat, and a few others. Considering the fact that almost a whole page and a half has taken up just by my Saturday, I think I’ll tell you just one more little detail. about my sickening adventure on one of the greatest roller coasters ever. THE DEMON! M'kay, so I was super afraid to go on this roller coaster because it involves loopty-loops. But once I got through one round of it, I didn’t wanna stop! OhMyGod it was like heaven! So anyways, on to Sunday! I woke up after an 11 hour sleep! Thank the lord! Since I woke up so late, and I was super duper lazy, I missed a day of confirmation. once I actually had the energy to shuffle out of my bed, I get in the shower, rejuvenate myself, and complete all other tasks in order to get ready for mother’s day at my aunts we headed up to my aunts for an afternoon of family reunions, hilarious stories, awesome play time with the little cousins, adorable pictures take with my cousin chase, and the most delicious food. Since this is sort of last minute I am gonna shorten my Sunday happenings. If you would like to hear more about my exciting, yet tiring weekend, go ahead and ask me in person. kthxbi!
